Christmas at Cook's 2013 - the Giving Tree

Like many other companies and organizations, Christmas is a time when we do something outside of our day to day business that supports the community.  For the last several years, we have been working with an organization called the Humanitarian Service Project to sponsor a Cook's Giving Tree.

Our Giving Tree is shown above - there are names for 20 children on our tree.  Each of these children will be getting gifts from Santa with a little help from the Cook's Elves.  We're always so excited to do this project because it's so much fun to go toy shopping for someone!  And the idea that what you are doing will hopefully make a difference in a kid's Christmas and maybe even more can be really motivating.  It's also great to do this as a group, the pile of gifts in our break room was awesome to see!

I hope that you'll take a little time out of your holiday to reach out to someone and extend your self or that someone will reach out to you.  The Christmas Giving Tree is one of the highlights of the season for many of us at Cook's Direct
